Al Jazeera also known as Al Jazeera and JSC , is a news television channel owned by the Al Jazeera Media Network and broadcast from its headquarters in Doha, Qatar.  Initially launched in Arabic, the satellite channel is currently expanding from Al Jazeera as a TV channel in multiple languages with internet and specialty TV channels from around the world. Al Jazeera has entered various regions of the world. Al Jazeera is a channel owned by the government of Qatar.
In June 2017, during a diplomatic crisis in Qatar, the governments of Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, and Egypt demanded that Al Jazeera-owned operations be shut down over alleged support for extremism. The media has been criticized by many organizations and states for spreading “Qatari propaganda”.
