Yes, we had the Samsung Galaxy M10 and now we have got the Vivo Y91C. Both are coming with the same kind of waterdrop notch display and both costs about the same. Both of these devices have their positives and negatives in individual ways. We can’t really compare the hardware and software standard of Samsung and Vivo. Both these brands have different service structure as well. So, we will compare some key features from the specs sheet.

Vivo is relatively new in the Bangladeshi market so, we can’t decide about the durability of this phone. But so far, we are getting overall good consumer feedback and we are optimistic about the development of this brand in the country. Vivo Y91C is released in a highly demanding price category. The design and display look very impressive. The 6.22″ large but with minimal and elegant teardrop notch screen is one of its most attractive factors. The gradient back looks quite stylish as well. The HD+ quality is pretty adequate. So, a combination of tasteful and practical design is offered by Vivo here at a fairly low price. The body is made of plastic but you will hardly get any different for the cost.

If you are looking for strong performance to run graphics-intensive apps, this is not the device. MediaTek Helio P22, 2 GB RAM and Vivo’s overall software build isn’t in favor of performance users. Even the Galaxy M10 isn’t too ahead than Vivo. If performance is prime to you, you may check out Xiaomi Redmi 6 with 3 GB RAM. But Vivo Y91C can handle average day to day multitasking and app usage pretty well. The 4030 mAh big battery with long backup is of an advantage as well.

Camera quality is overall pretty good in daylight. Vivo phones are well-known for their decent camera quality. The back camera is a single 13 MP one. Galaxy M10 processes overall better shots with a dual 13+5 MP camera setup and added features. 5 MP Front camera of Y91C is pretty standard. We will choose M10 over Y91C when it comes to the camera.

There is no fingerprint sensor but face unlock option is available. Compass, Gyroscope, Ambient Light etc. sensors are also available which is a nice thing considering the price. Among other features, there are 32 GB internal storage, OTG, FM Radio etc.
